Oh ho! that's you on the slippery slope now matey!
Next trick will be using the magic wand tool to select parts of various fractals and move 'em in to a new canvas, where you can apply the old 'hue and saturation' colour change!
image>adjustments>hue and sat.
You can change the colour overall if you click the little 'colourise' box which appears in the hue and sat control window.
